Through a 5-month research fellowship with Parallax Futures non-profit, I trained as a ‘conceptual technologist’ in applying conceptual thinking techniques to understand and shape the emergence of positive AI technologies.

My research explores how our individual perceptions, augmented with AI, can become a shareable reality. I study machine and human perception, questioning whether AI is capable of uniquely perceiving an experience through sensorial data. I experiment with an AI-enabled field recording application that delivers a reimagined social experience of a machine-mediated physical space. The result: an articulation of a subjective experience, leveraging machine translation to construct and share a reality and uncover connections between human, machine, and human-machine experiences.
